Senior Data Developer
Plusgrade's data platform powers decisions and machine learning models for the biggest travel brands in the world, and we need someone ready to own the evolution of this high-scale infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
You will design and implement resilient batch and streaming data pipelines, translating high-level architecture into actionable engineering solutions. You will optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency while mentoring intermediate engineers across the team. Our delivery model actively integrates advanced automation, so you will help restructure how our pipelines and tools are built, reviewed, and delivered around intelligent systems. Working closely with data scientists and product teams, you will ensure our mission-critical data flows remain scalable and trusted end to end.

What You Bring
You have advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data warehouses like Snowflake, along with a track record of building production-grade pipelines using tools like Airflow or Dagster.
You have structurally changed how your team works around AI, building shared systems others depend on and raising the technical bar for the developers around you.
You bring deep hands-on experience with real-time streaming architectures and have successfully scaled automated monitoring and data quality frameworks for critical pipelines.
You possess a strong software engineering foundation, applying robust testing, version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code to everything you build.
You are a natural technical mentor who collaborates effectively across functional teams to translate complex architecture into high-leverage business outcomes.
