Material Handler

We specialize in short run, tight tolerance metal forming, fabrication, welding and assembly.
Job Summary:
- Load and unload trucks;
- Pick parts utilizing pick list;
- Receive couriers – follow through applicable procedures;
- Count product, tag parts;
- Identify and conform to proper customer packaging requests;
- Warehouse parts as required;
- Maintain clean and organized work area;
- Use computer to obtain pick lists;
- Visually inspect parts for conformance;
- Other duties as assigned.
Skill Factor:
- Ability to safely and proficiently operate lift truck, reach truck, tow motors;
- Ability to read blue prints;
- Work with minimal supervision, organize and execute assignments;
- Good communication skills.
Effort Factors:
- Ability to accurately maintain and follow procedures;
- Capable of working flexible hours as required;
- Team member, who takes direction well and offers input;
- Must be able to stand and bend for an undetermined amount of time.
Education:
- Post Secondary Diploma or equivalent preferred;
- Certificate / license / supported or demonstrated ability and knowledge to use lift trucks, and other related equipment;
- Some general knowledge of computer applications;
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, which is 25 minutes from Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
