Junior Solicitor – Edmonton West End

Role and Responsibilities: As a Junior Solicitor with Galbraith Law, you will work closely with our experienced team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct of a wide variety of real estate transactions
- Meeting with clients for estate planning purposes and preparation of documents
- Serving small business clients
- Drafting legal documents, contracts and agreements.
- Providing client support in negotiations and deal closures.
- Offering legal counsel to clients on business-related inquiries and compliance matters.
- Participating in client meetings and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Administration work as expected in a small firm – such as providing quotes to potential clients and dealing with service providers
- Handling funds both general and trust
Requirements: We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the following qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Alberta Bar.
- Two to five years’ experience working as a lawyer.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in our practice areas.
- Effective problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A passion for delivering exceptional legal services to clients.

Pay: $72,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
