Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is a key role at TerraGen Solar, responsible for connecting our products and people while leveraging our strengths to create industry awareness, clarity, and interest. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Team to analyze data and provide support for the development and execution of TerraGen’s marketing strategy. This role requires creativity, organization, and the ability to execute — helping to establish and promote TerraGen’s brand, strategy, and supporting documentation.
Responsibilities
Marketing & Content
- Develop Marketing Campaigns: Supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, and coordinating promotional activities.
- Social Media Management: Managing social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Content Creation: Creating various types of marketing content such as blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, and marketing collateral.
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify trends, competitors, and new marketing opportunities.
- Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning and execution of events such as trade shows, conferences, and product launches.
- Analytics & Reporting: Analyzing marketing data and preparing reports to track the performance of campaigns and initiatives.
Sales Support
- Sales Collateral: Collaborating with the Sales Team to develop and maintain sales collateral, presentations, and product materials.
- Lead Generation Support: Supporting lead generation initiatives, including coordinating outreach materials, managing contact lists, and tracking campaign performance.
- Proposal & Quote Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of proposals, quotes, and customer-facing documentation as required by the Sales Team.
- CRM & Follow-Up Coordination: Coordinating follow-up communications and maintaining CRM data accuracy in support of sales activities.
Administrative Support
- General Admin Support: Providing occasional administrative support to the broader team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating materials.
- Document & Data Management: Assisting with filing, data entry, and document management as needed to support business operations.
- Ad Hoc Support: Supporting office coordination tasks and special projects on an as-needed basis.
- Additional Duties: Performing miscellaneous tasks as needed to support TerraGen’s goals and operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, sales support, or administrative coordination role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM systems and/or marketing analytics platforms is an asset.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
