Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fence Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing various types of fences and ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, construction, and carpentry, along with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor construction projects and skilled trades. Duties
- Measure and mark installation sites according to blueprints and schematics
- Use hand tools such as drills, hammers, and saws to assemble fence components
- Dig post holes accurately using manual or power tools
- Install fence posts, panels, gates, and other components securely
- Apply caulking or sealants where necessary to ensure durability and weather resistance
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for proper installation procedures
- Ensure all fencing installations adhere to safety standards and client specifications
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and leveling ground
- Coordinate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Perform routine maintenance or restoration work on existing fences as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Valid G license is preferred but not mandatory; reliable transportation is necessary
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
