What You'll Do
As a Licensed Pharmacy Technician, you will be an essential member of our healthcare team and will:
- Accept verbal prescription orders from authorized prescribers as permitted by scope of practice
- Perform final technical checks on prescriptions in accordance with Nova Scotia regulations
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications
- Manage prescription processing, adjudication, and inventory control
- Support medication reconciliation and patient care initiatives
- Assist with workflow optimization and quality assurance activities
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists to support clinical services
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient support
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Support pharmacy operations in a professional, efficient, and patient-focused manner
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists
- Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations and pharmacy technology practice standards
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Management Software is considered an asset
- Community pharmacy experience preferred, but newly licensed technicians are encouraged to apply

Pharmacy Hours
Monday – Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
