Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice and/or Red Seal Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your electrical skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. As an integral part of our electrical operations, you will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience and advance your career. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to learn, grow, and contribute to diverse electrical projects across industrial and construction settings.

Duties

Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial and construction environments
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup
Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment safely and effectively during daily tasks
Support the troubleshooting of electrical issues by following detailed procedures and technical instructions
Conduct inspections of electrical components to identify potential hazards or faults
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and modifications

Skills

Previous experience or familiarity with industrial electrician work is highly desirable
Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing devices
Construction experience that supports understanding of site safety and project workflows
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics for precise wiring tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical systems
Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team environment
