What You'll Do
Working from a different Owasco location throughout the week, you will become the driving force behind our online reputation and digital engagement efforts. You will support:
- Owasco Volkswagen
- Audi Durham
- Owasco Pre-Owned Centre
- Pickering Volkswagen
- Whitby Collision & Glass
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and publishing engaging social media content, including short-form videos and trending posts
- Identifying and developing fresh social media ideas that help our dealerships stand out
- Monitoring and responding to customer interactions across social media platforms
- Building relationships with customers, community organizations, and local businesses online
- Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on social media performance metrics
- Monitoring Google Reviews and other online review platforms
- Conducting AI visibility audits to evaluate how our dealerships appear in AI-powered search and recommendation tools
- Identifying opportunities to improve dealership reputation, online presence, and customer engagement
- Presenting insights, reports, and recommendations to General Managers and leadership teams
- Supporting dealership events and community initiatives through digital promotion
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker who enjoys generating new content ideas
- Strong organizational and reporting abilities
- Comfortable analyzing data and identifying trends
- Interest in artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and online reputation management
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable working from different dealership locations throughout the week
- Photography, videography, or content creation experience is considered an asset
- Automotive knowledge is an asset but not required
Position Details
- Full-time position
- In-person, no remote option
- Canadian experience is not mandatory
- Brand new position, not an existing vacancy
- $18.00 per hour + bonus could be available for the right candidate
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch
- 40-hour work week
- Primarily based in Whitby with one day per week in Pickering
- Occasional evenings or weekends for dealership events (time provided back in lieu)
