The chefs work directly with local farmers to create harvest-inspired menus that capture the essence of the season.
Job Purpose:
Our cooks play a key role in surpassing guest expectations and providing an incredible culinary experience that inspires guests to keep coming back for more. The Cook is responsible for the preparation of high-quality, delicious food in a thoughtful, consistent, and timely manner according to Pearle Hospitality’s high standards and understands the organization’s dedication to producing delicious food made from quality ingredients.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver elevated guest experiences through the execution of high-quality and delicious food, while highlighting genuine and thoughtful hospitality.
- Excellent knife skills
- Accept and perform additional tasks as required for optimal performance of the restaurant.
- Actively represent and promote Pearle Hospitality’s core values within the workplace.
- Act as an ambassador of Bardo Restaurants and Pearle Hospitality.
- Follow company policies and procedures as defined and outlined by Pearle Hospitality.
- Follow all Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for all guests and team members.
- Adhere to all cleanliness and sanitization practices.
- Maintain professional appearance and act with integrity and honesty.
What we would like you to bring to the position:
- Communication: Listen attentively to direction from the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef and communicate with other Cooks to ensure meal components are being produced on time and to standard.
- Adaptability: Ability to remain poised and professional in a fast-paced environment and positively interact with a variety of diverse guests and team members.
- Attention to detail: Produce menu items to expectations of guests and remain mindful of any specific accommodations noted for the dish, including any allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Positive attitude: Exhibit a passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn from kitchen leaders and other team members.

Compensation:
Compensation for this role is estimated at $25.50/hour, which includes a base wage of $22/hour plus direct tips from guests. Tip amounts are paid directly by guests and are expected to average approximately $3.50/hour, though actual amounts will vary depending on factors such as guest volume and seasonality. While tips are not guaranteed, they can be a meaningful part of overall earnings in this position.
