Description complète du poste

Boundary Electric is seeking a collaborative, detail‑oriented, and technically proficient Project Manager to support our growing operations and help deliver high‑quality solutions to our industrial clients. As a key partner to our production, engineering, and customer‑facing teams, you will oversee projects from initial RFQ review through to final delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and an exceptional client experience across the full project lifecycle.

This role is ideal for a project management professional who thrives in a dynamic technical environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and brings a practical, solutions‑focused approach to project execution. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage scope, coordinate materials and suppliers, support production workflows, and uphold Boundary Electric’s commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

RFQ Review & Project Initiation

Review RFQ packages to confirm scope, requirements, and feasibility.
Communicate intent to bid and ensure all clarifications are addressed within client timelines.
Establish material and labour costing, including supplier pricing and lead times.
Prepare accurate, comprehensive quotes that meet all RFQ specifications and commercial terms.

Contract, PO & Documentation Management

Review and process customer purchase orders, add‑ons, and change orders.
Ensure alignment between Boundary Electric’s quote, contractual terms, and project scope.
Maintain complete project documentation including schedules, RFIs, ITPs, IFC drawings, QA/QC forms, FAT plans, and turnover packages.
Support revision control and ensure all affected parties receive updated documentation.

Project Execution & Cross‑Functional Coordination

Oversee all aspects of project execution to ensure timely, efficient delivery.
Monitor production progress and participate in internal and external project meetings.
Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and project workflows.

Change Management & Scope Control

Manage scope changes and ensure customer approval for design modifications.
Coordinate drawing updates, revision control, and communication of changes.
Support effective change management practices that maintain project accuracy and alignment.

Shipping, Logistics & Close‑Out

Coordinate shipping requirements including crating, crane lifts, packing lists, and customer shipping releases.
Create invoices for project milestones, add‑ons, and change orders.
Complete project close‑out reports and ensure accurate final billing.
Conduct month‑end reporting

Qualifications

Must be located in either Calgary, AB or Grand Forks, BC

Education

Post-secondary education in Engineering or Business Administration required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of project management experience leading multimillion-dollar, external client-facing projects, ideally within electrical equipment manufacturing or similar industrial sectors supporting Oil & Gas clients.
Experience managing technical projects with complex documentation and supplier coordination.

Knowledge & Skills

Language Proficiency: Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking) would be an asset.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent leadership, organization, conflict‑resolution, and time‑management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, MS Project), Adobe Acrobat, Monday.com and NetSuite (preferred).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
