Accounting Assistant @ Original Gravity Beverage + Hospitality Group
What YOU will be doing:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable by processing and posting payments and invoices
- Process payments for The Beer Store and the LCBO and apply retail payments from merchants, e-transfers and credit cards
- Payroll entries
- Retail and restaurant revenue entries
- Reconcile credit cards on a monthly basis
- General administrative duties
- Other duties as assigned
What YOU bring to the table:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 1 year of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or as a bookkeeper
- Previous experience within the consumer-packaged goods, beverage alcohol, manufacturing and/or foodservice is preferred, but not necessary!
- Exceptional multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities at a time while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with Ekos and QuickBooks is considered a strong asset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with a commitment to building effective internal and external relationships
- Results-oriented and self-motivated with a "can-do” attitude
- A passion for craft beer (a big win for us, but not necessary!)
Working Conditions:
- This is an in-person position at our Gravenhurst location, Sawdust City Brewery
- Typical working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
- Work outside your “normal” hours may be required in peak season
- Extended periods of sitting and working on a computer
