Position Overview:

Finning Canada is seeking a Warehouse Person (Material Supply Assistant), who will be responsible for general shipping/receiving and warehousing duties at our facility in Yellowknife, NWT.

Job Description:

Picking customer and branch parts orders
Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment
Sorting and binning incoming stock
Loading and unloading of the parts trucks

Qualifications:

High school diploma (Grade 12)
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, as well as computer literacy are also desired
Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be assets
A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Important Information:

This position is based in Yellowknife, NWT on a 5x2 Shift. (Monday to Friday)
Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
