Position Title: Pathways to Growth (P2G) Program Coordinator
Pay Rate: $22-$24 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Contract: 1-year contract with strong possibility of renewal based on performance and funding

Hours Per Week: Part-Time, 24-26 hours per week
Reports To: Pathways to Growth Program Manager
Location: Brampton Head Office with regular support provided to the Mississauga location as required
Remote Work: In-Person position
Position Summary
The Learning Place is an adult literacy organization serving residents throughout Peel Region through literacy, digital skills, employment readiness, and developmental disability programming. The Pathways to Growth (P2G) Program supports adults with developmental disabilities through literacy, technology, employment, life skills, and community engagement programming.
The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in the day-to-day administration and delivery of P2G programming. Working closely with the Program Manager, the Coordinator supports learner registration, scheduling, communications, program logistics, record keeping, marketing initiatives, and special events. This role requires a highly organized, compassionate, and proactive individual who enjoys working directly with learners, caregivers, staff, and community partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Program Coordination and Administration
· Coordinate daily program activities and logistics across P2G locations.
· Manage learner registrations, attendance records, waitlists, and program files.
· Prepare schedules, learning materials, sign-in sheets, and program resources.
· Support workshops, special events, community outings, and virtual programming.
· Maintain accurate participant records and documentation.
· Track attendance and communicate concerns to the Program Manager.
· Assist with room bookings and program set-up requirements.
Learner and Family Support
· Act as a primary contact for learners, families, caregivers, and support workers.
· Provide information regarding programs, schedules, and services.
· Support learner engagement and participation in program activities.
· Communicate program updates and reminders.
Operational Support
· Assist with scheduling instructors, volunteers, and program activities.
· Monitor supplies and coordinate purchasing requests.
· Support intake processes and learner onboarding.
· Assist with invoice preparation, tracking, and administrative documentation.
Marketing and Community Outreach
· Create and distribute promotional materials using Canva and related platforms.
· Support digital marketing activity across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, DSO.
· Assist with newsletters, event promotion, and community outreach initiatives.
· Represent The Learning Place at community events as assigned.
Reporting and Data Tracking
· Maintain program statistics and attendance records.
· Support data collection for reports and funding requirements.
· Assist with outcome tracking and program evaluation activities.
Skills and Qualifications
· Diploma or Degree in Community Services, Social Services, Developmental Services Worker (DSW), Disability Studies, Education, Human Services, Recreation, or a related field.
· 1-2 years of experience in program coordination, administration, community services, or a related field.
· Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong customer service orientation.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
· Experience with Canva, social media platforms, and marketing tools is an asset.
· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Working Environment
· Part-time position averaging 24-26 hours per week.
· Primarily based in the Brampton Head Office with regular travel to Mississauga as required.
· Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for special events and workshops.

· Access to a vehicle is considered an asset; mileage reimbursement will be provided for approved travel.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
