Jaylor Fabricating Inc. is looking for an IT Systems Support Technician to join our team for a 12 month contract.

Role Details:
- Adhere to health & safety – we all go home safe at the end of the day.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users across all departments.
- Assist with maintaining, supporting, and optimizing IT systems, hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
- Support the day-to-day operation of servers, workstations, mobile devices, managed network systems, and plant floor technology.
- Assist with supporting the organization’s ERP/MRP system, including end-user assistance, troubleshooting, and basic system support.
- Research technical issues and solutions and report findings and recommendations to the IT Manager as required.
- Assist with maintaining IT security standards, user access controls, system patching, and backup procedures.
- Provide employee training and support for software, hardware, and IT-related systems as required.
Required Skills:
- College diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support, systems support, or helpdesk-related role is preferred.
- Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration is considered an asset.
- Experience with SQL Server administration and troubleshooting is considered an asset.
- A good understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPN connectivity, wireless networking, and managed network infrastructure is considered an asset.
- Experience supporting ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide professional support to end users.

We offer competitive wages based on skills and experience ($35.00-$40.00/hour)
