Dinoflex Recycled Rubber Innovators has been a leading innovator in the manufacture of recycled rubber products for over 35 years. We specialize in producing premium quality rubber flooring, surfaces, tiles and custom products. Our merchandise provides solutions for architects, designers, and builders world-wide that are cost effective and environmentally friendly. Our unique process produces an impressive range of richly colored flooring suitable for a multitude of sport and commercial applications.

Rubber King Performance Flooring is a premium fitness flooring brand focused on the retail and e-commerce channels with the same focus on quality and the environment as our commercial Dinoflex brand.

International Polyurethane Solutions (IPS), has been a leading innovator in the polyurethane industry for over two decades, specializing in premium quality binder, casting resin and spray coating products.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller with a manufacturing background to the join the leadership team and contribute to the ongoing and exciting growth of the company. As a senior member of the Leadership Team, you will report directly to the CEO. You will supervise and be accountable for the full cycle of accounting along with other duties:

Manage all accounting operations including Payroll, Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Develop internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities.
Ensure compliance with provincial & federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Establish and maintain financial controls with the accounting department.
Prepare and present timely financial reports and risk analysis.
Create budgets and forecasts.
Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Provide support to management, particularly in commercial and financial matters.
Create reports that help senior leadership understand company financials.
Be responsible for the company general ledger.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports and annual audit.
Improve processes and internal controls in all areas managed.
Manage debt facilities and review compliance reporting as applicable.
Perform and complete month-end closing process for all company entities.
Lead the preparation and management of working capital analysis.
Recommend policies and procedures relating to financial and business practices of the company.
Analyze and interpret balance sheet and income statement metrics and trends.

The team member we are looking for will ideally have the following knowledge and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
5 years proven work experience in accounting or a related field.
Understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
Understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and banking.
Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
Proven experience in financial project management.
Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel and SAP.
Must be able to communicate financial information into sound business language so people of all levels can understand.
