Overview
We are seeking a motivated, hardworking Apprentice Cabinetmaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to take directions and learn . This role involves working with various materials and tools to fabricate custom millwork.
Duties
- Work under the direct supervision of the shop foreman and journeyman cabinetmakers.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
- Material handling and some site work as required
- Wood finishing experience would be considered an asset.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinet making or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to woodworking.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work hours.
- A commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
