Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your organizational skills and friendly demeanor will ensure a smooth patient experience while supporting office management tasks. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills, this opportunity is perfect for you! Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk in
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently and courteously
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar management using digital tools like Dentrix, Outlook and Microsoft Office
Handle data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate patient records with precision and attention to detail
Inputting and processing insurance, predeterminations, billing and collecting payments using POS system
Provide exceptional customer support by addressing patient inquiries, providing information about services, and ensuring patient satisfaction

Skills

Experience in administrative support within a healthcare or dental setting is an asset
Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
Confirm, pre-confirm and reschedule patients, and minimize gaps on the schedule.
Enter and update patient information and intake forms
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
Experience with clerical duties such as filing, proofreading, and document management
Familiarity with customer service principles to provide friendly support and handle patient concerns professionally
Relay messages clearly between staff and patients
