Position Title: Operations Cleaner
Department: Operations
Report to Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager
Manage: Nil
Portfolio Focus:
We are looking for a Casual/On Call Operations Cleaner.
Duties:
- Sweeping/Mopping
- Garbage collection and removal
- Cleaning the washrooms, lunchrooms
- Replenishing the supplies
- Dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing
- Floor maintenance
- Lab’s cleaning
- Sweep, vacuum, or blow litter, cigarette butts, and debris from sidewalks, parking areas, and perimeter
- Other duties as required or assigned by the Manager and Lead Hand
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
- Other reasonable requests.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education:
- Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and supplies.
- Ability to physically perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to attend work on a regular, on-going, consistent basis.
- Ability to understand and implement all policies and procedures as they relate to the janitorial work to be performed.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
- Must be able to perform all cleaning tasks.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
