Join BBA and help strengthen the cybersecurity and resilience of critical infrastructure across North America. As an Intermediate ICS Cybersecurity Analyst, you’ll work with multidisciplinary teams supporting clients in the energy, mining, utilities and industrial sectors.
You’ll help deliver OT/ICS cybersecurity projects that help manage cyber risk, improve operational resilience and meet regulatory obligations. You’ll work on a range of mandates including assessments, compliance initiatives, technology evaluations, system design and implementation.
Working closely with experienced engineers, cybersecurity specialists and industry experts, you’ll tackle complex challenges while building your technical and consulting skills. You’ll also gain exposure to leading-edge technologies and critical infrastructure.
You’ll contribute to major electrical engineering projects, from early client engagement to onsite commissioning, while developing trusting relationships, training others and taking a hands-on leadership role within a high-performing team.

- Perform ICS/OT cybersecurity assessments, risk analyses, vulnerability evaluations and control reviews for industrial environments
- Evaluate, design and support the implementation of cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, network segmentation, monitoring platforms and secure remote access solutions
- Support compliance and regulatory initiatives related to NERC CIP, ARS CIP and other cybersecurity frameworks
- Develop cybersecurity policies, procedures, technical documentation, audit evidence and supporting compliance artifacts
- Facilitate client workshops, communicate technical findings and provide practical recommendations to improve cybersecurity maturity
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams while contributing to innovation initiatives, technical methodologies and knowledge-sharing activities

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a related field
- From 5 to 8 years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, industrial automation, critical infrastructure or related environments
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as NERC CIP, ARS CIP, IEC 62443, NIST CSF or NIST SP 800-53
- Experience evaluating, designing, implementing or supporting cybersecurity technologies within industrial environments
- Experience in conducting ICS cybersecurity risk assessments
- Familiarity with industrial control systems, including SCADA, PLCs, DCSs, RTUs and intelligent electronic devices (IEDs)
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, OPC and ICCP
- Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business recommendations
- Intermediate or advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with clients and colleagues across Canada and internationally
- Asset: experience supporting utilities, power generation, transmission, distribution, mining or industrial organizations
- Asset: experience with cybersecurity technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, switches and secure remote access solutions
- Asset: familiarity with vulnerability management, access management, patch management, change management and incident response processes
- Asset: exposure to governance, risk management or security operations centre (SOC) environments
- Asset: relevant certifications, such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, GCIP, Security+, Network+ or NERC CIP certification
