Triple Eight Transport Inc. is currently looking to add a new member to their high performing Customer Service Team. With a high volume of emails and calls the successful candidate will be able to manage, organize and prioritize their email and tasks repeatedly throughout the day!
The successful candidate must possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, challenging environment and have a high level of accuracy under those conditions. They must also have a strong sense of ownership and the ability to problem solve. The role also requires the ability to communicate effectively at a high level both internally and externally to ensure all information is translated correctly to all parties.
Responsibilities include:
- Processes and inputs all customer orders, generates work orders and checks orders for special requests.
- Corresponds and communicates with customers over the phone and email to meet their needs and ensure they receive an exceptional customer service experience. Responds to all inquiries via email/phone in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedules inbound or outbound customer appointments and communicates expected lead times and special accommodations.
- Responds to all inquiries via email or phone in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaising with facility and in house operations teams through effective communication to coordinate shipments and provide exceptional service to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensures proper invoicing of accounts by identifying all services performed so they can be communicated to billing department.
- Anticipates and prevents delays or other things that can adversely affect the customer.
- Keeps customers informed about the status of pending actions and inquiries about customer satisfaction to ensure consistent level of service targets are being achieved.

- Liaises with the customer to address any damages or returns (OS&D). Investigate and complete relevant paperwork.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Works effectively as a part of a team

- Must have reliable Transportation
- Proven team player with ability to align position goals with corporate strategic goals
- Proven strength in communication and relation building
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dispatch or planning role required
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience would be an asset
- Some post-secondary education is an asset
- Strong time management skills with the proven ability to multitask
- Strong work ethic and superior attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be legally allowed to work full time in Canada
