Job Overview
We’re looking for a paid media wizard who loves diving into dashboards, tweaking ad sets, and watching conversion rates climb. Ideally, you live and breathe paid acquisition and have zero hesitation about jumping into Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Reddit to launch, optimize, and scale campaigns. You can look at a spreadsheet of raw ad data and immediately spot the narrative, turning metrics into actionable recommendations.
You pride yourself on being organized, highly analytical, and maybe even the type of person who tracks their personal habits (or vacation itineraries) with formulas and spreadsheets. Now, you’re looking for a flexible, contract opportunity to lend your paid ads expertise to an exciting, growing Strategic Marketing Agency.
Note: This role is open only to candidates who currently live in Alberta, Canada, working from home.
Duties
- Campaign Building & Execution: Setting up, launching, and managing paid campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Reddit. You'll handle everything from pixel implementation to ad set structuring.
- Optimization & Testing: Constantly monitoring performance, tweaking ad copy variations, adjusting bids, and running A/B tests to lower cost-per-lead (CPL) and maximize ROI.
- Audience Targeting: Segmenting audiences based on buyer personas, building custom lookalikes, and setting up precise B2C and B2B targeting.
- Analytics & Reporting: Digging into data to track metrics that actually matter (CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rates). You'll help us compile clean, clear insights so we can show our clients exactly how their investments are performing.
- Collaboration: Working alongside our copywriters, designers, and strategists to ensure ad creatives and landing pages are cohesive, on-brand, and built to convert.
Experience
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience directly managing paid ad campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Experience with Reddit Ads is a major plus.
- Data-Driven: You know your way around spreadsheets, Google Analytics, and ad platform reporting tools. You look past surface-level "vanity metrics" to find real growth drivers.
- Communication: Strong ability to collaborate asynchronously using tools like Slack and email, and jump on video calls when needed.
- Project Management: Top-notch organizational skills to manage campaigns for multiple clients without letting things drop. Experience with Teamwork, Asana, Notion, or Basecamp is an asset.
- Hustle: A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently, get things done efficiently, and set our clients up to win.
