Join a Leading Team in Complex Commercial Insurance as a Senior Marketer. (Full Remote Opportunity)

Are you the kind of insurance marketer who enjoys tackling complex placements and finding creative solutions for hard-to-place risks? Our client, a highly regarded boutique brokerage with expertise in resorts, entertainment, and large commercial property accounts, is looking for a Senior Broker/Marketer to join their team.

In this role, you’ll lead the marketing and placement of sophisticated commercial property programs, working with layered and high-value risks that require strong market strategy and relationship management. You’ll collaborate closely with insurers, negotiate competitive terms, and help deliver tailored coverage solutions for a diverse portfolio of notable clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the underwriting, design, and placement of complex, multi-layered commercial insurance programs across various risk classes.
Manage all aspects of renewals, working with manuscript wordings and conducting analysis on policies.
Build and maintain relationships with core insurers, reinsurers, and capacity providers.
Collaborate on strategic negotiations regarding capacity, pricing, delegated authorities, and long-term partnerships.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to a junior marketer, supporting their professional development.
Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, maintain accurate documentation, and oversee all policy issuance and record-keeping.
Participate in market forums, insurer meetings, and industry events to strengthen market presence and market intelligence.

Required Skills:

10 to 15 years of experience in commercial insurance placement.
Proven track record in placing complex, multi-insurer programs.
Deep knowledge of insurer market dynamics, capacity management, and placement strategies.
Strong relationships with senior underwriters and market authorities.
Experience with DUA is nice to have
Exceptional negotiation skills and a confident market presence.
Proficiency in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with policy wording processes.

Competitive base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 (negotiable depending on your experience)
