We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Design Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in residential construction, interior design, project administration, and operations. The successful candidate will provide administrative and project coordination support to our design and project management teams while helping ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and within budget.
This is an in-office position with significant opportunities for learning and professional growth within Calgary's luxury custom home industry.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in administration, project coordination, construction, design, or a related field
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Interest in residential construction and interior design
- Post-secondary education in business, administration, project management, interior design, or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience in residential construction, design, or procurement is considered an asset
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Comfortable utilizing AI tools and technology to improve efficiency and organization
- Strong ability to manage digital files, spreadsheets, databases, and documentation
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly

Responsibilities
Project Administration & Coordination
- Support the Design Team and Project Management Team with day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks
- Assist with project setup, organization, and ongoing project administration
- Track project schedules, milestones, and timelines
- Assist with procurement activities and purchase tracking
- Maintain and update project documentation and records
- Support handover preparation
Budget & Procurement Support
- Assist in tracking project budgets and allowances
- Review and organize supplier quotes
- Prepare budget-versus-quote comparisons
- Assist with change order administration and documentation
- Track procurement schedules and material deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and commitments
Design Administration
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of project specification sheets
- Organize and maintain design selections and documentation
- Support sample management, organization, and tracking
- Maintain and organize the design library, sample inventory, and product resources
- Assist with design presentations and project documentation preparation
General Administrative Support
- Execute general administrative duties and office support tasks
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and internal communications
- Run occasional project-related errands and support tasks
- Assist with filing, data entry, document management, and reporting
- Support continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems
