Join Our Team as a Senior Material Testing Technician – Exciting Local Opportunity in Edmonton!
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Material Testing Technician looking to be part of a fast-paced, growing company? Inline Group Inc. has an exciting opportunity for Material Testing Technicians local to Edmonton. With long-term regional projects, you’ll have the benefit of being home every night while contributing to high-quality construction projects. What You’ll Be Doing:
· Safety First, Always – Take an active role in site safety meetings, follow all site-specific requirements, and lead by example to promote safe work practices. Encourage safety interventions and maintain a culture where safety and quality come first.· Leading From the Front- Assisting with training, scheduling and reporting with our onsite teams. Liaising with clients and Inline management with regards to project needs.· Field and Laboratory Testing – Conduct on-site testing of various materials, including compaction, concrete, and asphalt testing. Prepare reports and enter data using both manual and digital reporting systems.· Equipment Management – Maintain and ensure proper handling of materials testing equipment, including Nuclear Gauges, concrete testing tools, and laboratory instruments.· Client Collaboration – Work closely with clients to provide technical expertise and maintain strong relationships. Actively participate in Inline Group’s ISO 9001 Quality Program and corporate HSE program.· Technical Excellence – Support geotechnical investigations and instrumentation work while ensuring accurate and reliable testing results to meet industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:
· Experienced Professional – You have 7-10 years of industrial/civil materials testing experience at an intermediate to senior level.· Detailed Orientated - Represent Inline in client progress meetings, assist in training new staff, review reports and improve quality.· Qualified & Skilled – Strong knowledge of Nuclear Gauge usage, field concrete testing procedures, and laboratory testing requirements. A Geotechnical/Civil Engineering diploma or equivalent is preferred.· Ready for the Job – You hold a Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record and are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to travel based on project demands.· Certification – CCIL accreditation in Type-C/HMA, Type-QF/QL, or CSA is an asset.· Driven to Grow – Passionate about learning, problem-solving, and contributing to a high-performing team.
