Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for food preparation and innovation. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and maintain the highest quality of food service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our menu offerings and elevate our restaurant’s reputation within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of performance
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and standards
Develop and update menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends and customer preferences
Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize profitability
Train new staff members on food handling, safety procedures, and service protocols
Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth functioning and resolve any issues promptly
Collaborate with restaurant management on operational improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
Solid restaurant management experience including inventory control, cost management, and staff training
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities efficiently
Exceptional communication skills for effective team coordination and customer interaction
Prior experience in the hospitality sector with a focus on serving guests at a high standard of service
Demonstrated ability to innovate menus while maintaining quality standards

This position is integral to delivering an outstanding dining experience through expert culinary leadership. We seek a dedicated professional committed to excellence in the food industry.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
