Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth at our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the automotive industry, and a proven track record in sales management. The Automotive Sales Manager will play a key role in building relationships with clients through high-end and B2B sales, while supporting the dealership’s marketing efforts and sales support initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage the automotive sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the sales pipeline and increase dealership revenue
Conduct outside sales activities, including B2B sales and networking within the community
Negotiate deals effectively with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership profitability
Maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills
Oversee all aspects of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals
Support marketing initiatives aimed at increasing dealership visibility and attracting new customers
Manage sales support activities, including training staff on product knowledge and phone etiquette
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations

Skills

Proven experience in automotive or retail sales management with a focus on high-end or B2B sales
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
Demonstrated success in developing and managing a robust sales pipeline
Ability to lead a team through effective sales management techniques
Experience in marketing strategies relevant to automotive or retail environments
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously
Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term client relationships
Proficiency in using CRM systems or other tools for tracking sales activities and performance metrics
