Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator/Dental Admin to join our vibrant dental practice. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to treatment coordination. Your energetic and organized approach will help foster positive patient relationships, streamline office operations, and support the delivery of exceptional dental care. Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage all front desk responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments utilizing dental practice management software (Gold)
Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries to ensure accurate financial transactions
Maintain detailed records using electronic medical records systems and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently and providing excellent customer service
Educate patients on treatment plans, payment options, and post-visit instructions clearly and confidently
Coordinate with dental providers to facilitate smooth patient flow and timely appointment management
Manage administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence to support daily office operations

Experience

Previous experience working in a dental or medical office environment is highly preferred
Strong familiarity with dental practice management software such as Gold is ideal, willing to train
Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in an administrative role within a healthcare setting
Demonstrated ability to handle multi-line phone systems and manage busy front desk environments with professionalism
Office experience involving electronic medical records (EMRs) or electronic health records (EHRs) is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills combined with a positive attitude to deliver outstanding patient care
