Overview

Industrial Rubber Company is a leading provider of industrial rubber products and services to the mining, industrial, and military sectors. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Managerto join our team and play a key role in the daily operations of our business.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple responsibilities, and contributing to the success of a growing company.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Follow up on outstanding accounts.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial records.
General journal entries relating to bank transactions and general ledger account adjustments, etc.
Prepare and submit government remittances (HST, payroll deductions, tax instalments, and WCB reports monthly, etc.).
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as required and prepare monthly reports and financial statements for their review.

Office Administration

Manage daily office operations and administrative functions.
Answer phone calls and respond to customer and supplier inquiries.
Maintain employee records and support payroll processing including employee benefits, record of employment and T4’s
Prepare reports, correspondence, and other business documents.
Support management with various administrative projects.

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping and office administration experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
