Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our residential/commercial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various products and structures. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. The Painter will contribute to maintaining the aesthetic and protective qualities of our products, supporting overall efficiency and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coatings
Apply paint, primer, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other equipment
Use hand tools and power tools to perform surface preparation and finishing tasks
Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all painting activities
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met before completing each project

Experience

Prior experience in residential painting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Ability to use hand tools, power tools
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise application of coatings
Knowledge of safety procedures related to working with chemicals, paints, and industrial equipment

We service high end residential, cottage and commercial buildings so candidates must conduct themselves in a professional manner and display great customer service skills.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:

Residential painting: 1 year (preferred)
