Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced, licensed plumber to join a growing plumbing team in the London, Ontario area.
This position is ideal for a highly experienced plumber who is comfortable taking the lead on complex residential plumbing work, working independently, troubleshooting issues, and helping mentor less-experienced plumbers.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Lead and complete plumbing projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and plumbing specifications
- Ensure work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
- Mentor and support apprentices and less-experienced plumbers
- Maintain accurate records of completed work
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Participate in the company’s on-call rotation when required
Requirements
- Valid plumbing licence / journeyperson certification
- Approximately 8+ years of plumbing experience preferred
- Strong residential plumbing experience
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve plumbing problems
- Valid driver’s licence
- Clean driving abstract
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to lead jobs and work independently
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
Additional Experience Considered an Asset
- Backflow prevention
- Septic systems
- Water purification or water treatment systems
- Experience supervising or mentoring apprentices
- Residential service plumbing
- Renovation and new-construction plumbing
