We are looking for 310T Mechanic Apprentice with 2+ years of experience in the heavy truck/transportation industry and with 2+ years of heavy truck repair experience located at our North York location in Ontario. Under the direction of the Assistant General Manager, this role will support our growing company and play a crucial role in the waste division.

The Role
- Must be available to work a full time afternoon/evening shift
- Must adhere to RWM safety protocols and must be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Work with 310T Mechanic to repair waste vehicles and trucks, including hydraulics and electrical as well as shop maintenance
- Conduct vehicle maintenance according to established RWM policies and procedures.
- Will also be required to clean the shop, paint rims, and generally maintain the appearance of the equipment
You have
- Enrolled in a recognized Ontario apprenticeship program for 310T (Truck & Coach); 2nd year or higher is a must
- Demonstrated intent to complete and obtain the 310T Certificate of Qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the heavy truck/transportation industry, including hands-on heavy truck repair experience (or equivalent practical experience)
- Valid Ontario driver’s license (appropriate class for operating company vehicles, where applicable
- Possession of a basic set of personal tools required for the role.
- Ability to use modern diagnostic tools and technology to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and apply sound judgment to develop solutions that meet required standards
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate, and organize work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, occasional travel, and, on rare occasions, weekends and holidays, to support operational demands
Hourly Salary: $26-$30
