Royal Machine Solutions Inc. is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development & Operations Manager to help drive the next stage of our growth.
This is not a traditional office management role. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems, improving processes, developing new revenue opportunities, and helping build a scalable manufacturing company.
Working directly with the owner, you will lead strategic initiatives that increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen the overall business.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop new scalable business opportunities
- Identify and pursue new markets, customers, distributors, dealers, and OEM partnerships.
- Review and present strategic opportunities.
- Attend industry events, and trade shows.
- Research new products, services, and market opportunities.
- Support strategic acquisitions and growth initiatives.
- Web based add and initiatives. Experience with google adds and marketing.
Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Improve business processes and workflow across the organization.
- Coordinate projects between engineering, purchasing, production, and administration.
- Develop and monitor company KPIs and performance metrics.
- Assist with implementing ERP, software, and process improvements.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean manufacturing principles.
- Perform product and process value stream mapping to identify waste and improve efficiency.
Purchasing & Cost Reduction
- Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs.
- Work with purchasing and engeneering to source and qualify new suppliers.
- Standardize purchased components where appropriate.
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Lead measurable cost-saving initiatives throughout the business.
Human Resources & Organizational Development
- Screen applicants and support with interviews.
- Coordinate hiring and onboarding.
- Assist with employee development and training programs.
- Maintain job descriptions and recruitment processes.
- Support performance review administration.
- Help build a strong company culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
Executive Support
- Assist the owner with strategic planning and business initiatives.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and business analysis.
- Coordinate special projects across companies.
- Research new technologies, equipment, and business opportunities.
- Help implement long-term growth strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, operations, or business development.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to improve business processes.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement and applied examples needed.
- Comfortable working with engineering, production, sales, and management teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and business software.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
