We are hiring certified Early Childhood Educators — both ECE Basic and ECE Infant/Toddler (ECEIT) — to join our team.

WHERE THE JOB IS — AND HOW TO GET THERE

The school is at 107 Church Street, Britannia Beach, BC — on the Sea-to-Sky corridor between Vancouver and Squamish. Easy commute from:

Squamish — 10-15 min via Hwy 99
Lions Bay — 15 min
Furry Creek — 5 min
West Vancouver — 30 min
North Vancouver — 35 min

For those who'd rather skip the commute, we have on-site housing available (~15% below local market rate). More on that below.

THE PROFESSIONAL DEAL — ACTUAL NUMBERS

Wage: From $30/hr (ECE Basic) or From $31/hr (ECEIT) — effective, with full BC ECE Wage Enhancement
4 weeks paid time off per year: 1 week Spring Break + 1 week Summer Break + 2 weeks vacation. Most BC daycares give 2 weeks total. We give 4.
5 paid sick / personal days per year, separate from vacation
Extended health care + dental care, rare in small BC daycares. We have both.

FOR CANDIDATES WHO WANT IT: ON-SITE HOUSING

We have access an on-site apartment in Britannia Beach for staff members who want it — ~15% below local market rate. We facilitate landlord approval so you skip the BC rental hunt entirely. Optional, not required.

WHAT YOU BRING

Valid BC ECE Certificate to Practice (Basic ECE OR Infant/Toddler) — OR Ontario RECE willing to transfer — OR provisional BC ECE/ECEIT completing your 500-hour work experience
First Aid + CPR Level B (or willing to obtain before your start date)
Clean Criminal Record Check for working with children
Reliable transportation from Squamish, North Vancouver, or anywhere on the Sea-to-Sky corridor — OR interest in our on-site housing option
Most importantly: someone who wants to stay. We hire for the long game.
