Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Technician to join our renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong technical background, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various electrical systems. The Solar Technician will play a vital role in advancing sustainable energy solutions while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels, mounting systems, and electrical components according to project specifications and safety protocols
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing solar energy systems to maximize efficiency
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, wiring, and system adjustments
- Conduct electrical work involving low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations
Skills
- Electrical experience related to low voltage wiring and system troubleshooting
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to working at heights, electrical systems, and man lift operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Prior experience in renewable energy or solar installation is preferred but not required; Training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $18.97-$35.00 per hour
