About the Position
We are currently seeking a full-time Production Worker / Spot Welder to join our manufacturing team.
Previous spot-welding experience is preferred but not required. Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Our production team starts work promptly at 7:00 AM, so punctuality and reliability are essential.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and is looking for a long-term career in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Operate spot-welding equipment
- Perform production and assembly tasks
- Produce quality work while meeting production expectations
- Follow work instructions and quality standards
- Perform visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Assist in other manufacturing departments as required
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and the ability to consistently arrive on time for our 7:00 AM shift
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow work instructions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience is an asset
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment such as spot welders, press brakes, shears, punches, hardware insertion equipment, or other fabrication equipment is considered an asset
