Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (½ hour lunch)
Hiring Warehouse Associate – Shipper / Receiver
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate / Shipper Receiver for a warehouse environment near the Oakville / Mississauga border. This role involves shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, documentation, and inventory handling.
No forklift required at start (training provided in future).
Key Responsibilities
- Shipping and receiving
- Preparing shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips)
- Receiving incoming shipments and verifying condition, quantity, and paperwork
- Picking, packing, and labeling orders
- Packing and unpacking materials
- Coordinating courier shipments (UPS, Purolator, Cardinal, etc.)
- Tracking shipment status and updates
- Reporting damaged stock or equipment
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of inventory
- Safe disposal of packaging and waste materials
- Quality control checks on incoming/outgoing goods
Requirements
- At least 1 year of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with Excel and NetSuite an asset
