Bunzl Canada has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract and retain top talent! This is a dynamic role in a changing environment where adaptability is key: daily you will be sourcing and hiring talent for one of our many vacancies.
From the operational to the strategic – this role has it all! You’ll support the building and executing of our local recruiting strategy for Canada in alignment with our Canadian vision. You’ll guide and share your knowledge with recruiting in Canada. You will work with company leaders and HR to align on upcoming hiring needs, develop recruiting action plans and balance the workload while keeping an eye on key performance metrics. You’ll work to understand and improve our recruitment process to deliver a great candidate experience, diverse candidates and happy hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
- Align with our recruitment strategy for Bunzl Canada – making sure you understand our business drivers, our recruitment ambitions, the roles we need to fill and availability on the market - to attract and hire the best talent for our industry.
- Manage the work against the region’s priority recruitment needs.
- Proactively engage with and manage expectations of stakeholders from business leaders to partners in HR to understand and anticipate recruitment needs now and in the future.
- Ensure diversity hiring practices are woven into all aspects of our recruitment processes and practices.
- Execute our hiring processes from start to finish for the vacancies within your scope.
- Find innovative ways to meet our constantly expanding and evolving recruitment needs
What you bring:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in recruiting and talent acquisition across a range of functions.
- Experience in a corporate environment.
- Some experience in multilevel recruitment; distribution (Warehouse and Driver)- and professional (Sales, Purchasing, Finance, IT, Marketing, HR)
- Experience with ATS or similar systems.
- Interview Guidance
- Bilingual (French) would be an asset
