Millcroft Inn & Spa is currently seeking an Assistant Spa Manager to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity that can provide flexibility, valuable work experience, and a chance to work with a tenured team.

Job Title: Assistant Spa Manager

This posting is for an existing within Lais Hotel Properties Limited.

Position Summary: Responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Spa consistent with the functioning a first-class spa and treatment facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities :

Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity
Meeting established up-selling and sales goals
Assists the Spa Manager in ensuring the level of service performed by the Spa Team is characteristic of a four-diamond hotel rating
Responsible for assisting with training and monitoring of Spa Team Members
Assists the Spa Manager with the scheduling of all contract Personnel/Concierges/Supervisors
Takes an active role in promoting the hotel’s services and facilities as well as performing site inspections as required
Assists the Spa Manager in the development and implementation of Spa Standard Operating Procedures
Assists the Spa Manager in the development and preparation of annual department budget
Monitors inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available
Reports in a proactive and timely manner any maintenance deficiencies to the Maintenance Department and thoroughly follows-up
Performs Spa Concierge duties as necessary to accommodate absences or business demands
Attends and contributes to Management meetings in the Spa Manager’s absence
Filling Duty Manager shifts when required
Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services
Suggesting additional products and services meeting our Guests’ specific preferences
Assessing Guests’ individual needs to meet standards for additional products and services
Actively seeking ways to meet Guests’ product or service needs

Professional Requirements:

Minimum of two years hands-on experience in a Spa
Basic accounting principles such as Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cash Receipts, understanding of budgetary concepts
Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset

Outgoing personality with strong sales ability
Confidence in selling and up-selling products and services
