Bridal Seamstress / Tailor
Bridal Boutique of Cambridge is looking for an experienced Bridal seamstress with at least 2 Years of Experience. You must have experience altering Dresses/Formal Gowns. Common alterations are ; Hemming, bustle, taking in seams, letting out seams, working with Lace, Beading, Etc. and some customizations. Must be comfortable interacting with customers and completing fittings.
Requirements:
- 2 Years experience sewing
- English Preferred but not required (other languages spoken can be Ukrainian)
- Can offer some training as well but must be willing to learn quickly
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced workplace with a strong ability to problem-solve while staying organized.
Responsibilities:
- Alter by measuring, cutting, sewing and tailoring Wedding Dress
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 44 per week

## Responsibilities
- Perform alterations and repairs on various types of clothing, including wedding dresses and formal wear.
- Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding clients' needs and preferences
- Sew, stitch, and hem garments using industrial sewing machines and hand stitching techniques
- Assist customers in choosing fabrics, styles, and designs for Customizations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
## Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tailor or similar role
- Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand stitching tools
- Knowledge of different fabrics, garment construction techniques, and alterations
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
