The Technical Lead provides hands-on technical leadership to elevate engineering practices, guide architecture, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. This role is accountable for the overall technical health, performance, and evolution of the product or platform, while influencing standards and supporting the technical roadmap.
Although there are no direct reports, the Technical Lead plays a key leadership role by mentoring teams, driving technical excellence, and strengthening engineering capability across Digital Services.

- Develop people leadership capabilities, with opportunities to formally lead teams or take on a Technical Manager or Principal role over time
- Drive innovation and modernization initiatives, shaping the long-term technical roadmap and advancing cloud, data, and platform capabilities across the organization
What will you be responsible for?
- Provide technical leadership and governance by setting engineering standards, guiding architecture, and ensuring alignment with best practices and enterprise requirements.
- Contribute hands-on to development, leading complex builds, resolving issues, and modelling high standards in coding, testing, and delivery.
- Drive system architecture and health, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions with strong monitoring, performance, and risk management practices.
- Lead CI/CD, DevOps, and tooling practices, enabling automation, consistent workflows, and efficient delivery processes.
- Coach and mentor team members, building capability through feedback, knowledge sharing, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Support delivery and risk management, helping plan and sequence work, identify technical risks early, and improve development and release practices.
What are we looking for from you?
- Deep hands-on experience designing APIs, integrating systems, and delivering cloud-native solutions
- Proven ability to influence architectural decisions across multiple teams and services
- Strong expertise in system decomposition, event-driven design, and modern engineering practices
- Solid experience with CI/CD, containerization, and observability tools and frameworks
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in Salesforce, nCino, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Fabric

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a Technical Lead or Senior Engineer role.
