Wind Turbine Technician

The Work: We proudly offer turn key services for major component replacements on most WTG platforms with extensive experience on Siemens 2.3, GE 1.6 and Vestas platforms. We specialize in major component exchanges; such as Main Bearing, Gearbox, and Generator exchanges. Along with other tasks like internal components, blade bearings, gearbox components (up tower gearbox repairs), hydraulics, electrical, general service & maintenance and advanced rigging. This wide range of services also allows us to take on new tasks and challenges that may be unique, or new to you.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of wind turbine components using hand and power tools.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize rigging techniques for safe lifting and installation of turbine parts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of adherence to safety protocols and job execution progress. And report any issues to supervisors.

Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Wind Turbine Technician (Major Correction Experience a plus)
· Millwright Trade Ticket or equivalent experience are encouraged to apply
· Work well in a team environment
· Travel with-in Canada.
· Work long hours as required
· Safe work mindset.
· Positive attitude.
· Experience with S.W.P and G.E. platforms an asset, but not necessary.
· Valid Driver’s License
· Must have Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.54-$40.00 per hour
