Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Chilliwack is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, energetic instructors to join our team!

If you love creating an incredible class experience, connecting with people, and helping others feel stronger, healthier, and more confident, we’d love to meet you.

Who We Are

Oxygen Yoga & Fitness offers a unique combination of yoga, fitness and mindfulness inside our state-of-the-art FAR Infrared heated studios.

Our classes go far beyond traditional yoga. Our schedule includes everything from yoga and deep stretch to strength-based fusion, Pilates/barre-inspired formats, cardio, HIIT-style workouts and more.

What really makes Oxygen special, though, is our community.

We want our studios to be places where members feel welcomed, encouraged and excited to come back — and our instructors are a huge part of creating that experience.

We’re currently interested in hearing from:

200HR+ Certified Yoga Instructors
Certified Personal Trainers
Certified Group Fitness Instructors
Pilates / Barre Instructors
Instructors with experience in strength, conditioning, mobility or other complementary fitness formats

Experience is an asset, but we’re also interested in meeting newer instructors who have great energy, strong foundational knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching.

Most importantly, we're looking for people who can connect with a room.

You should be comfortable motivating members, providing modifications, creating an inclusive environment and delivering a class that members look forward to attending again.

What Makes Teaching at Oxygen Different?

Our instructors teach in a FAR Infrared heated environment, creating an immersive workout experience unlike a traditional gym or yoga studio.

Depending on the class format, you may be combining elements of:

Yoga Strength Cardio Pilates Barre Mobility Mindfulness

Our Methodized class formats provide structure and consistency while still giving our instructors the opportunity to bring their own personality, energy and teaching style into the room.

Instructor Training

Every new instructor completes the Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Methodized Training Program before being added to the schedule.

Training includes:

Oxygen's Methodized class formats
Teaching and cueing techniques
Classroom management
FAR Infrared heat and safety practices
Modifications and progressions for different fitness levels
Incorporating fitness elements safely and effectively
Creating an engaging member experience
Brand standards and studio expectations

New instructors will also have opportunities for hands-on practice and feedback from our leadership team.

Training doesn't stop once you're on the schedule. We believe great instructors should continue developing their skills, and we provide ongoing feedback, education and opportunities for growth.

What We Expect From Our Instructors

Being an Oxygen instructor is about more than teaching a great workout.

Our instructors are expected to:

Deliver safe, engaging and high-quality classes
Arrive prepared and ready to create an amazing member experience
Build genuine relationships with our members
Create a welcoming, positive and inclusive environment
Offer appropriate modifications and progressions
Maintain studio cleanliness and reset the room after class
Support studio events, challenges and community initiatives
Be comfortable being part of our social media and studio marketing
Represent Oxygen Yoga & Fitness professionally both inside and outside the studio
Be receptive to coaching, feedback and continued development

We especially love instructors who are excited to build their own following and create a community around their classes.

Availability

We are looking for instructors with consistent weekly availability.

Opportunities may include:

Early mornings Daytime Evenings Weekends

We value reliability and consistency, and preference may be given to instructors who are able to commit to regular weekly classes.

The Audition Process

Selected applicants will be invited to complete an instructor audition/demo class so we can get a feel for your teaching style, cueing, energy and ability to connect with members.

Video auditions may also be considered where appropriate.

Don't worry — we're not looking for perfection. We're looking for personality, confidence, coachability, knowledge and connection.
