Moon Magic Chocolate Factory – Chilliwack, BC
Do you spend your free time creating videos because you genuinely love it? Do you know how to make content that people actually stop scrolling to watch?
Moon Magic is looking for a part-time, casual/on-call Content Creator to capture and edit fun, engaging short-form videos inside our chocolate factory.
This is not a beginner content creation role.
We’re looking for someone who already has the creativity, editing ability, and eye for storytelling to take our social content to the next level. If your videos consistently make people laugh, watch longer, or hit replay, we’d love to see your work.
What You’ll Do
- Film behind-the-scenes content inside our chocolate factory.
- Capture product shots, manufacturing footage, team moments, and creative social media content.
- Edit videos into engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
- Use creative transitions, motion graphics, sound design, timing, visual effects, and trending editing styles where appropriate.
- Help brainstorm fresh content ideas that fit the Moon Magic brand.
- Occasionally create humorous or trend-based content while maintaining a polished, professional look.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t necessarily need years of professional experience—but you do need the talent and ability to produce content that stands above the average social media video.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have intermediate to advanced video shooting and editing skills.
- Have a strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Know how to make videos feel energetic, entertaining, and highly engaging.
- Have a creative eye for framing, lighting, pacing, and storytelling.
- Can work independently and bring your own ideas to the table.
- Enjoy experimenting with new editing techniques and social media trends.
If your editing style is primarily basic cuts, simple captions, and standard transitions, this position probably isn’t the right fit. We already produce that level of content in-house—we’re looking for someone who can elevate our videos with creativity and personality.
Schedule
- Casual / on-call.
- Shoot days are scheduled in advance with plenty of notice.
- Flexible scheduling makes this an excellent opportunity for a high school or post-secondary student, or someone looking to supplement another part-time job.
- All filming takes place at our Chilliwack chocolate factory.
Compensation
$18.25 per hour
