Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and experience in handling multi-line phone systems. Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus, but not required. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment while developing valuable administrative skills.

Duties

Greet visitors and clients with professionalism and courtesy
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and courteously
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Perform data entry with accuracy, including updating patient or client records
Handle filing, record keeping, and document management tasks
Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic QuickBooks entries as needed
Support administrative functions such as proofreading documents and preparing correspondence
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming atmosphere
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Support medical or dental office operations by managing patient check-in/check-out processes if applicable

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
Experience with data entry, filing systems, and clerical duties
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and data management
Previous office experience preferred; medical or dental office experience is a plus
Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping is advantageous
Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and correspondence management
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively

This position plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency of our office operations while providing outstanding support to clients and team members alike.
