About the Role
Measured Growth CPA is hiring a Senior Accountant to lead client delivery, oversee junior team members, and manage direct client relationships in a modern, remote-first accounting firm.
You’ll handle a portfolio of up to 60 monthly bookkeeping clients (with junior support), and you’ll be responsible for reviewing financials, preparing year-end packages for T2 filings, coaching junior staff, and leading client onboarding. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role for someone who thrives in a systems-driven environment and wants ownership of their work.

What You’ll Do
- Manage a portfolio of up to 60 monthly clients with junior support
- Review monthly bookkeeping prepared by junior staff using QBO, Dext, Keeper, and Wagepoint
- Prepare year-end documentation for corporate tax filings (T2), averaging 7 hours per client per year
- Act as the lead contact for your clients via email and Slack
- Lead onboarding for new clients: gather documentation, set up systems, and ensure a smooth transition
- Coach and support junior bookkeepers to improve accuracy, efficiency, and understanding
- Use AI-powered tools to automate parts of the review, reporting, and communication process
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve workflows and SOPs as the firm scales

What You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Experience preparing or reviewing Canadian T2 corporate tax returns
- Strong familiarity with QBO, Dext, Keeper, and Wagepoint
- Comfortable reviewing bookkeeping prepared by junior team members
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Must be located in Canada and eligible to work full-time
- Able to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
- Comfortable using AI and automation tools to increase efficiency
- Bonus: experience managing onboarding or leading a small accounting team
