Empowered by Speech and Language SLP Inc. is a growing pediatric private practice dedicated to nurturing every child’s ability to express, engage, and connect. We provide culturally responsive, family-centered, and strengths-based speech and language services to children and families across Durham Region, Scarborough, East Toronto, and virtually across Ontario.
Our practice supports children ages 1–14 with a variety of communication needs, including:
- Speech sound disorders
- Receptive and expressive language delays
- Social communication differences
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Motor speech difficulties
- Fluency challenges
- Literacy and communication development
We are currently seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. We are looking for someone who values connection, child-led therapy, and empowering families throughout their communication journey.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct speech and language assessments for pediatric clients
- Develop individualized and functional therapy goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals
- Provide parent coaching and home-based strategies
- Complete reports and clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Offer services in-home, virtually, and/or community-based depending on client needs
What We’re Looking For
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for culturally responsive and family-centered care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a growing team
- Access to a vehicle is considered an asset for in-home sessions
