Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator is a key member of the Crown Isle Resort Sales team, responsible for managing assigned market segments and supporting revenue growth through client relationship management, sales coordination, and exceptional service.
This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through contract confirmation, ensuring a seamless transition to our operations teams for event execution.
Sales Coordinators will specialize in assigned market segments while supporting the sale of guestrooms, meetings, catering, golf, wholesale partnerships, and resort experiences.
The ideal candidate is organized, relationship-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Management
- Manage incoming sales inquiries for guestrooms, meetings, catering, golf, events, wholesale partnerships, and resort experiences.
- Act as a primary contact for assigned clients and market segments from inquiry through contract completion.
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding couples, tournament organizers, group leaders, and repeat guests.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, confirmation letters, and supporting sales materials.
- Identify opportunities to upsell guestrooms, upgrades, golf, dining, and additional resort experiences.
- Conduct property tours and site inspections with prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate client records, sales activity, and follow-up schedules.
Group Coordination & Internal Communication
- Coordinate group details including room blocks, rooming lists, golf requirements, food and beverage requirements, billing instructions, and special requests.
- Work closely with Front Office, Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, Catering, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Ensure accurate information is communicated to operational teams prior to arrival.
- Support the transition of confirmed events to the Catering Manager for execution.
Reservations & Administration
- Maintain accurate group reservations and booking details within hotel systems.
- Update room blocks, availability, package details, guest notes, and special requests.
- Manage wholesale reservations, ensuring contracted rates and booking requirements are accurately maintained.
- Assist with reporting, sales tracking, and account management activities.
- Complete required follow-up with groups before and after arrival.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in hospitality sales, reservations, events, or customer service (hotel/resort experience preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with hotel PMS or CRM systems considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $48,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
