Description complète du poste

We are looking for an Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be have recently completed a Civil Engineering Degree, Civil Engineering Technology Diploma, or Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management. Preference given to candidates who have previous experience in a related role and understand the challenges of working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. They will hold a valid class 5 drivers license and be able to meet our drug and alcohol policy requirements. The following certifications would be considered an asset: CSTS 2020, CSO, Supervisory Level Ground Disturbance, Standard First Aid, WHMIS and H2S Alive.

Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Project Manager and working directly with the Superintendent and Foremen on site
Managing all aspects of project tracking relating to quality, costs, and manpower projections
Provide technical recommendations and support during the planning and the execution of projects
Ensure project control procedures and policies are executed and assisting in maintaining project schedules
Monitor projects for compliance with design and specification, and implement quality surveillance procedures
Participate in quantity take offs, estimating, and purchasing activities.
Conducting site inspections
Monitor, track and submit all project specific paperwork relating to the company’s HSE Program.
Assist with document control, close out documents and other administrative tasks
Attend site meetings
Manage technical documents such as RFI’s, NCR’s, etc.
Be an active participant in company safety culture, and showing commitment to working safely
Other duties as required

Required Skills

Civil Engineering Degree, Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management (BTech-CM) required
Hands on experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Team player
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Class 5 Driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
This position is 90% field/travel based and will work on project rotation of 14/7 or 21/7. Accommodations (camp or hotel) and meals/LOA will be provided when working away from home.
