We are seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join our team for a new-build, luxury rental property in Dartmouth.

This role will play a key part in the leasing and resident experience of a brand-new, multi-residential master-planned community.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in leasing high-end, newly developed properties, with a strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act. This position requires a versatile professional, skilled in sales & customer service.

We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about building long-term relationships with residents, while also interested in growing their career in leasing within a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will work well in teams and have strong administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all leasing activities including responding to and nurturing leads, suite showings, and follow-ups to achieve occupancy targets for the community.
Close leasing deals effectively by identifying renter needs, presenting property features, and negotiating lease terms in alignment with company goals.
Organize and conduct property tours highlighting features, amenities, and community lifestyle to prospective tenants.
Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with prospective and current residents, ensuring a positive rental experience.
Assist with move-in processes to ensure smooth resident transitions and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, leases, and correspondence within property management systems.
Coordinate lease administration tasks such as preparing lease documents, processing applications, and ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act.
Multi-task efficiently to balance administrative duties, tenant communications, leasing activities, and property presentations.
Support marketing and leasing campaigns by managing leads, responding to inquiries quickly, and assisting with promotional events.
Collaborate with the property management & marketing team to share insights, and continuously improve leasing processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in leasing, preferably within new-build or luxury residential properties.
Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and lease compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet or exceed leasing targets.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong administrative and record-keeping abilities.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
2+ years of leasing experience in residential property management (required).
Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills.
Proficient in Yardi, CRM systems & Microsoft Office (preferred).
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
