We are seeking a Jr. Recruiter/Account Manager to join our team. While we are headquartered in Toronto, ON, this is a fully remote position from home.
The successful candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, strong quantitative abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting. This individual will oversee end-to-end recruitment for designated roles, from crafting job descriptions to sourcing and evaluating talent. You will engage with applicants, establishing relationships, understanding their backgrounds and skills, and matching them to opportunities that align with their interests and employer needs. Priority consideration will go to candidates with a minimum of one year in recruiting or sales experience.
You will also coordinate with clients to understand their staffing needs and relay these requirements to our recruitment team.
Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm EST. Candidates outside EST must be able to align with our schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the account team to identify open roles and deliver top candidates to clients
- Perform initial screenings and interviews using behavioral and competency-based techniques to present a shortlist for client review
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline of technical professionals
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle for assigned positions—from creating and posting job descriptions through candidate onboarding
- Partner with client hiring managers to gather job requirements and expectations
- Respond to inquiries about our services via phone, email, and social media
- Cultivate strong partnerships with client hiring managers, business leaders, and other lines of business
- Conduct consistent follow-ups with hiring managers and candidates to ensure timely recruitment
- Assess candidates against job requirements across all areas
- Coordinate with both candidates and clients to secure signed agreements for all placements
- Proactively seek new business opportunities for staffing needs via phone, email, and other electronic channels
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- One to two years of experience in recruitment or sales. Please note that customer service roles are not considered sales experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities, communication skills, and team-based project experience
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking capability in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Meet
- Results-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic setting
- Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Willingness to craft job descriptions from scratch. Candidates who are not comfortable writing need not apply.
- Additional preference for those demonstrating strong quantitative abilities
